I am excited to announce this new, dynamic and collaborative website dedicated to Staats genealogical and historical research. Let me introduce myself. My name is Sean Staats and I'm a genealogy fanatic. I'm hoping to find other Staats genealogy fans who are as eager as I am to share knowledge, discover our roots and history and build a great, informative website. Even though this site has recently started, there are already a few points of interest:
  1. First of all, have a look at what this site is all about.
  2. Next, read my opinions and ramblings at the blog (coming soon).
  3. See what discoveries we are making in our genetic genealogy project.
  4. Browse through the online family tree at geni.com.
Please consider joining in our efforts that I believe will benefit the descendants of the several unique Staats families. Be sure to add this site to your favorites and check back often for updates.
