Greetings! My name is Sean Staats and I’ll be your partner in researching the multiple Staats family lineages. I myself am descended from Jan Pieterszen van Husum (aka van Huysen). I started studying genealogy about two years ago and must admit that I have become addicted to genealogy. This is not really a bad thing except for the occasional sacrificed sleep.
